¹ This system requires a separately purchased 64-bit operating system and 64-bit software products to take advantage of the 64-bit processing capabilities of the AMD 64 processor. Given the wide range of software applications available, performance of a system including a 64-bit operating system will vary. Dual/Quad/Triple Core is designed to improve performance of multithreaded software products and hardware-aware multitasking operating systems and may require appropriate operating system software for full benefit. Not all customers or software applications will necessarily benefit from use of this technology. This PC does not support the AMD over-clocking feature.

² Up to 1 GB may not be available with 32-bit operating systems due to system resource requirements. Dual Channel is only supported when the system is configured with DDR3 symmetric memory (i.e. 2 x 2GB). For systems configured with more than 3 GB of memory and a 32-bit operating system, all memory may not be available due to system resource requirements. Addressing memory above 4 GB requires a 64-bit operating system.

³ For hard drives, GB = 1 billion bytes. Actual formatted capacity is less. Up to 8GB (for XP and XP Pro), up to 10 GB (for Vista) and up to 16 GB (for Windows 7) of disk space is reserved for the system recovery software.
