Widescreen-ready
Geared for true 16:9 recording, the MV930 captures video that is ideally suited for playback on the very latest widescreen TVs. During recording, footage is monitored exactly as it will appear on the TV, either on the camcorder’s 2.7" 16:9 LCD screen or via the colour viewfinder. Using the LCD’s level marker, it’s easy to keep the subject lined up. Additional 4:3 shooting is available at the push of a button.
25x optical zoom
The camcorder’s 25x optical zoom lens has an Electronic Image Stabilizer and variable zoom speeds, a guarantee of sharp footage every time.
Photo capture
With photos saved to SD card, the MV930 is also a fully functioning digital camera, including Canon’s 9-point Artificial Intelligent Auto-focus (AiAF) system that lets you accurately focus on off-centre subjects.
Real colours with DIGIC DV
Whether making a movie or taking a photo, colours are always reproduced as vividly as you remember them with Canon’s DIGIC DV. DIGIC DV is a processor that provides two processing paths, one each dedicated to video or stills. That means that the camcorder can treat different kinds of images in the best possible way, as well as allowing photos and video to be shot at the same time.
Easy controls
The MV930 is great for beginners, with a one-push Easy shooting mode that tells the camcorder to switch all key controls to automatic, letting you get on with the most important task of framing the perfect shot. For more creative control, a re-designed layout leaves just six buttons to master as your video skills grow.
