Printing labels has never been easier or quicker with the CL series; with the high speed throughput power of these enhanced printers, it simply means that "time to first label" is almost instantaneous! These 4" wide printers not only come with a choice of 203dpi or 305dpi printheads but also have an internal memory which can be expanded to save an immense number of True Type™, graphics and formats. In addition, you also have a choice of interface board: LAN, USB, IEEE1284 or the high speed RS-232C.

The new "e" Series of CL printers brings the latest in technology to the world of Thermal Transfer Label Printing. The CL408e and CL412e printers offer high-speed data transmission, unparalleled processing speed and large amounts of onboard memory to quickly and easily manage any label printing requirement.

Throughput - The CLe Series printers set new benchmarks in label throughput. A new generation RISC processor provides high performance in label production even when printing directly from standard Windows® applications.

Memory - The CLe Series printers come with a full 18 MB of on-board memory STANDARD! Enough memory for storing multiple fonts, graphics, formats etc. without the need for optional 4 MB of Flash memory or an additional 16 MB of PCMCIA memory may be added.

Windows® Compatible - Users still have the option of producing high-quality labels by using either SATO's native command language (JCL) or quality label design and production software such as SATO's Label Wizard. Now, the ability to easily and efficiently produce labels direct from Windows® applications such as WORD, EXCEL, ACCESS, etc. is also an option.

Interface Connections - Choose from one of SATO's standard high-speed, bi-directional Plug-In Interface Modules: IEEE1284 Parallel, or High-Speed Serial (up to 57.6k bps). Also available are optional Plug-In Interface Modules for Twinax/Coax and Ethernet (10/100BaseT) and RS422/485.
