Samen met HP ProCurve MultiService Mobility Access Points bieden HP ProCurve MultiService Mobility controllers een hoogpresterende netwerkoplossing. De verbeterde architectuur is zonder dure controllerupgrades uit te breiden van IEEE 802.11b naar 802.11n. Krachtige identiteit- en rolgebaseerde gebruikersaccountprofielen en Virtual Service Communities (VSC's) met onafhankelijk configureerbare Quality of Service (QoS), authenticatie, encryptie en VLAN-ondersteuning zorgen voor intelligentie aan de rand van het netwerk. De controllers zijn schaalbaar van nevenvestigingen naar grote organisatie en bieden snelle roaming en ultrasnelle doorvoer. Draadloze beveiliging is oersolide, dankzij ondersteuning voor interne en externe authenticatie, autorisatie en accounting (AAA) servers, ingebouwde stateful firewall, VLAN-mapping per gebruiker en wederzijdse controller/access point (AP) authenticatie.
