Il server HP ProLiant DL120 G5 è un nuovo server entry level a basso costo ottimizzato per rack. Con un costo contenuto ma prestazioni elevate, DL120 supporta processori Intel Xeon con tutti i vantaggi di prestazioni dei processori dual-core e quad-core. Una serie di processori tra cui Intel Celeron, Pentium, Core2 e Xeon, offrono la possibilità di scegliere il processore adeguato in base alle esigenze applicative e al costo. Server 1U con 1 processore, è ideale per un'infrastruttura IT con applicazioni singole, Web e alla periferia della rete. DL120 G5 offre due slot PCI-Express con la possibilità di sostituire uno slot PCI-Express con uno slot PCI-X. Gli upgrade aggiuntivi, tra cui HBA SAS HP e controller Smart Array, offrono supporto per dischi rigidi SAS. La gestione remota offerta dal LO100c aggiuntivo, fornisce al DL120 G5 una soluzione efficace e a basso costo per la gestione remota dei server, sempre e ovunque. DL120 offre tutta la tranquillità tipica di un prodotto ProLiant.
