The EXSW-2400 Switch is a central component of the Extricom WLAN system. Extricom WLAN delivers the flexibility, performance, and simplicity that your organization needs for converged data, voice (VoWLAN) and video in enterprise WLAN deployments.
The EXSW-2400 provides Fast Ethernet connectivity for up to 24 Extricom UltraThin Access Points, whose aggregated coverage area constitutes the Channel Blanket. The EXSW-2400 is the only device in the WLAN deployment that contains software; the plug-and-play APs simply function as radios, with no software, storage capability, MAC or IP address.
