High performance, convergence-ready, modular Gigabit switch with PoE support

OUT FABRIC

The 3Com Switch 7758 chassis bundle provides the foundation for delivering performance, security and Quality of Service in a modular eight-slot chassis optimized for workgroup edge and small-to-medium network core deployments. This bundle includes an 8-slot chassis with pre-installed dual power supplies and a fan assembly; switch fabrics must be ordered separately. Optional redundant fabric ensures high availability for key core networking requirements.

The chassis supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) with the addition of the 3Com Switch 775X External PoE Power Rack and a 3Com Switch 7700 48-port 10/100/1000BASE-T PoE module or Switch 7700 48-port 10/100BASE-TX PoE module.

Available modules provide Ethernet/Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, and 10-Gigabit Ethernet with copper or fiber connectivity.
