Overview
The HP StorageWorks D2D Backup Systems provide disk-based data protection for small or medium-sized data centers and distributed environments. With 1.5 to 18 TB of useable capacity and speeds of up to 540 GB/hour you can significantly reduce your backup window. The D2D Backup Systems feature HP Dynamic deduplication allowing you to retain up to 50x more data on the same disk providing efficient storage and fast restore, enabling low bandwidth replication over a WAN for cost-effective off-site backup and recovery. Integrating into your existing environment, it works with your backup software to automate and consolidate the backup multiple servers onto a single, intelligent, rack-mountable device. Reduce errors caused by media handling; plus proven RAID 6 technology and hot spare with D2D4112.
