Mit dem externen HP Jetdirect EW2400 Printserver lassen sich die Vorteile flexibler Anschlussmöglichkeiten nutzen. Da dieser Printserver die 802.11b/g und Fast Ethernet Netzwerkeinbindung unterstützt, ist kein weiterer Printserver erforderlich. Der Printserver lässt sich absolut problemlos installieren und verwenden. Installation und Konfiguration mit wenigen Mausklicks über den HP Install Network Printer Wizard. Der Printserver ist Wi-Fi-zertifiziert und ermöglicht eine sichere Datenübertragung mit Unterstützung des WPA-Personal-Sicherheitsstandards. Ein Embedded Webserver sorgt für eine einfache Druckerverwaltung.
