The PIXMA MP550 is an advanced All-In-One home photo printer that offers photolab-quality printing, scanning and copying. Style, speed and quality combine with a range of time-saving features.

Realistic document print speeds
Canon supports the industry-wide ISO standard for measuring print and copy speeds. This makes it easy to select the right PIXMA for you based on real document print speeds. The PIXMA MP550 offers ISO ESAT speeds of 9.2ipm for mono documents and 6.0ipm for colour.

Photolab-quality
Canon’s FINE print head with class-leading 1pl size ink droplets produces superior 9600x2400dpi print resolution. Photos are amazingly detailed, free from grain, and have smooth gradations of colour. A 10x15cm borderless photo is delivered in approximately 39 seconds using default settings.

5 Single Inks
Ink tanks are individually replaceable, reducing wastage. Four dye-based inks deliver superior quality photo prints; a pigment black produces crisp text documents.

Intuitive operation
Take control using the intuitive Easy-Scroll Wheel, previewing images on the clear 5.0cm colour TFT display. Scan to and print from USB stick and memory card. Alternatively attach a compatible camera via PictBridge. With two paper paths, load plain and photo paper at the same time.

Intelligent features and software
Easy-WebPrint EX is intuitive software that makes it easy to clip, edit and print information from the web: organise multiple clippings on a single page to save paper. Auto Photo Fix II is advanced software that corrects a wide range of common image faults including underexposure. Using sophisticated Scene Analysis and Face Detection technology, problems such as red eye are swiftly eliminated. Exposure levels of separate parts of an image are optimised for best results.

High-quality scanner
Scan in incredible detail with the 2400dpi scanner. MP Navigator EX software offers OCR and PDF editing features along with a range of image correction options. Auto Scan Mode automatically recognises what you’re scanning and selects the appropriate settings.
