Clear, bright images
With native WXGA resolution (1280 x 800 pixels) and 2,500 lumens brightness the LV-8227M, part of the Middle Portable series, can project from widescreen PCs just as they are. This makes it ideal for projecting crisp, detailed images, in the office or on the move.
Strong colours
A 500:1 contrast ratio enables the LV-8227M to faithfully capture detail and display vivid colours. Canon’s 1.2x zoom projection lens also ensures superb image quality, in virtually any environment.
Easy, automated operation
A range of automatic features makes it simple for even novice users to operate the LV-8227M. Among them are Auto Input Search, which automatically captures input signals and Auto Keystone Correction that automatically adjusts the image alignment.
Flexible connections
With support for HDMI™, which makes it possible to connect PCs, DVD players and the like, the LV-8227M is the ideal choice for high quality digital projections in small spaces. Compact 1W speakers provide sound, while the line out can be used to connect to an external audio system.
Optimal projections
Automatically adjust the settings for your projector with pre-set quality image mode buttons. These optimise projection in bright light, on blackboards (green), or coloured walls, while manual changes to contrast, hue and brightness can also be saved to pre-sets. In addition, the LV-8227M automatically adjusts the aspect ratio to suit the projected image.
Reduce costs and maintenance
Long-life components, including the lamp (up to 6,000 hours in Eco Mode) and air filter (which lasts about 5,500 hours) mean less maintenance and lower costs. Power consumption is also low in standby (under 1W) and the projector runs quietly in Eco Mode, at just 29dBA.
Remote control
Switch the projector on or off, change settings, and monitor lamp usage remotely through the serial control port. It’s also ideal for integrating with room control systems.
Secure presentations
Password protection stops unauthorised users, while there’s peace of mind during presentations by using the Control Panel Key Lock to prevent the wrong button being accidentally pressed.
