16x DVD-R discs are the perfect high speed, high capacity and high performance data storage medium, capable of storing literally thousands of digital photographs or MP3 files; or up to two hours of digital video in SP mode or four hours in EP mode. The fast recording speed of up to 22 MB per second, is equivalent to a CD-R recording at around 140x. DVD-R discs are compatible with a number of drives, will work in DVD-RW drives and will play back in most DVD-ROM and DVD Video players. They are also safe, as once written, they cannot be erased.
