TOSHIBA LCD 32XV635DG HDTV 100HZ
With the development of the 32XV635D, Toshiba Europe GmbH has expanded its XV range of LCD TVs to include a model with a 32-inch (81,3cm) screen diagonal. This new model is the first smaller device to incorporate the company’s 100 Hz technology “ActiveVision M100HD”, which reduces motion blur by doubling the number of pictures displayed. The main advantage of the XV635 series is that the products are extremely easy to use; very rarely do you find yourself having to fiddle around with the remote control. “Dolby Volume” technology maintains a consistent volume level, while “AutoView” technology optimises the picture settings. Moreover, exceptional picture quality is achieved thanks to “Resolution+”, which ensures the optimal playback of SD content on full HD panels. The energy-saving 32XV635D TV is equipped with ports for SD card and USB as well as tuners for DVB-T and DVB-C -in each case also for HD (H.264). The 32XV635D will be available from September on in Europe.
Pleasing to the eyes and ears
Usually the volume level varies when you change channels, an advert break starts or you switch over to an external device, meaning that you constantly have to adjust the volume manually.
The incorporation of “Dolby Volume” technology in the XV series prevents these volume variations and ensures a consistent overall sound quality. Toshiba has also developed some equally sophisticated technology to optimise the picture quality. “AutoView” automatically adjusts the picture settings, so that as soon as the TV is unpacked, the customer can enjoy a picture which is perfectly adapted to the ambient room. To ensure the high-quality playback of SD content on the HD panels, “Resolution+” processes the low pixel density content to produce near HD quality. The 100 Hz technology “ActiveVision M100HD” reduces motion blur by doubling the number of pictures displayed.
Connections to fit all requirements
The 32XV635D is equipped with an SD card slot and a USB port , as well as four HDMI connections, 2 SCART connections, a PC socket and a subwoofer output. Other features include an elegant Slim Speaker system, a Dolby Digital Plus decoder, tuners for DVB-T and DVB-C - in each case also for HD (H.264). Thanks to its “InstaPort™” technology, the XV range also conveniently reduces the delay when switching over to an HDMI channel from the conventional four seconds to around 1.5 seconds.
